Rich flavor with a complex twist!

I use this coffee in my espresso machine and it makes a fantastic morning pull! Full and dark flavor with a nice twist. My new favorite!

Our favorite for how many years?

It's been 15+ years. We never looked back. Full bodied and what coffee should taste like.

A great dark roast

I buy this coffee on a regular basis as one of my go to roasts. Have tried many of the Altura coffees and typically enjoy them all. My favor of one over another is a narrow margin, but as I said this one is always included in my purchases. I drink it by the pot with or without heavy whipping cream by preference and it is great either way.

Not as earthy as Indonesian dark roasts like Sumatra. I liked it better in the French ...

"A very bold and dark roasted cup. Not as earthy as Indonesian dark roasts like Sumatra. I liked it better in the French press than the drip maker. Plus, grown with care. Damn near perfect"

High Quality Dark Roast Organic Coffee

"This coffee is great! The flavor is bold but not bitter. This one is very much a dark coffee. I save so much money making this at home rather than going to a coffee shop. I like that is comes fresh roasted in the whole bean. I know its fresh because some of the grounds lightly clump to the grinder when I dump them into the brew basket. I love the strong aroma of the coffee before and especially after grinding, but my wife does not. My point is you must be a fan of very dark coffee to throughly enjoy this coffee. I love it and to keep it fresh because it comes in a non resealable 2 lb bag, I keep it in a ziplock bag in a dark cupboard, one that I only use for coffee, because the light is not good for your beans. 2 lbs is large amount of coffee, depending on my amount of drinking each month of week I have had times where I have ran out before my next delivery and I have had only a half of a pound used when the next 2 lb box arrived. There are other variety of coffees from this same company but I don't care. This is the only coffee I drink at my house and will remain that way until they stop making it. I use the used grounds for composting and have no worries about it because this is organic coffee with out any nasty chemicals."
